of Lanzarote is such a person.
Dr Medina has provided primary health care in Puerto De Carmen
since 199. With his English speaking staff he provides
a service which reflects the procedures and practices you are
comfortable with. From the moment you enter the surgery you
will be treated with respect and reassurance and you can relax
in the confidence of knowing you are in safe hands.

TIPS
No vaccinations are required to travel to the Canary Islands.
If possible please remember to bring any medication which you
have been prescribed with you to the surgery
UK residents are entitled to use the Spanish National Health
Service (Servicio Canario Salud). You may collect a European
Medical Health Card at any UK Post Office.
If you have been hospitalised within the past 12 months try
to bring the records with you and your GP contact details.
If you are pregnant please bring your pregnancy medical record
with you on holiday and if necessary a “Fit to Travel” certificate.
If you are on Warfarin or any anti coagulant therapy always
bring your medical chart with you.
Lanzarote water has a very high mineral content and may cause
a tummy upset so please only drink bottled water. Most bars
and restaurants buy their ice cubes already frozen from bottled
water.
