Great fun for a whole day out and is just a ten minute walk from the town center.

Please remember that this is a small island so do not expect Water World as the Aqua Park is not on the scale of the huge parks which may be found elsewhere in Spain.

It is however, a lot of fun and a good day out for adults and children alike.

Within the grounds there is also a Paint Balling area with a separate admission charge.

There is a bar and cafeteria within the Park and a small shop.

The park does not offer much sunshade so please go well prepared.

Lanzarote Aquarium

Situated in Costa Teguise Lanzarote Aquarium is the largest in the Canary Islands, with more than 1 million litres of water, distributed in 33 aquariums containing hundreds of marine species.

Lanzarote Aquarium owns a great biological collection. In it, typical fishes from the Canary Islands such as the Trigger fish, “Golden fishes” or “Fulas”, and beautiful tropical fishes of different colors and forms, such as clown fishes, poisonous fire dragons, globe fishes, funny lobsters and cleaning crabs.

Walk through and observe from our submarine tunnel a variety of shark swimming gently inside the main tank of 400,000 litres.

Rancho Texas

Located just a short walk from the town center of Puerto del Carmen you will find Rancho Texas. A wonderful animal park dedicated to the breeding and happiness of its resident animals which includes two White Tigers, Elvis & Marilyn! The animals are very clean and happy and a joy to visit.

The owner tries to make the park as hands on as possible, (except for the Tigers), and the bird of prey show is one of the finest I have ever seen.

The entry charge includes the Parrot Show, Sea Lions Show, Lasso Show & the fabulous Bird of Prey Show.There is a very reasonably priced restaurant in the park where you can enjoy the food and a quick drink. For the adults it’s good to know that they do serve salads not just Beef Burgers and chips! Generally speaking this is a must to visit for adults and children and exceptional value.

Shark Dive

New to Lanzarote………. the unique experience of diving with Sharks in the Aquarium!

Lanzarote Aquarium is offering this exciting and hugely enjoyable opportunity to actually get in to the large tank with Sharks and other predators while your astonished family watches your bravery.

You will be accompanied by professional divers and biologists at all times during the immersion to ensure both your safety and that of the Sharks.

The activity starts in the swimming pool near the Aquarium.

First you will have to put all your diving equipment on. Once the dive procedure has been properly explained to you by an expert from the diving center you will make your first immersion to put into practice everything that you have learned.

Once you are absolutely comfortable with the whole dive procedure you will proceed to the tank. (Last chance to change your mind)!

Bring on the cameras…the tank has a Cat Shark that is nearly two meters long, a round Stingray, one and a half meters long, Bamboo Sharks, Groupers, Grey Mullet and Bream.

You will have been taught all about these wonderful species before entering the tank, where they live, what they eat, (not diving tourists), how many teeth they have, types etc. They will also explain the rules which you must adhere to at all times.

This is the opportunity of a life time and the photos will stun your friends and family.
