360 Canaries Gastronomy Guide to Lanzarote

Lanzarote is brimming with wonderful gastronomic delights. You will virtually trip over restaurants wherever you go but to help you to find some of the more interesting and varied venues we decided to point you in the right direction of one or two!

Fresh fish obviously abounds on an island in the sun. Baked Boiled Salted - Tuna, Sea Bream and Parrot Fish are all on the menu as are the local Rabbit & Goat dishes.

Tapas is the local idea of a snack type buffet. Lots of small & tasty dishes giving you the opportunity to try a little of everything! Gambas al Ajillo (prawns in garlic sauce), Pimientos del Padron, which are small green peppers,  Jamon Serrano the lovely cured ham which can be seen hanging up in most supermarkets. Octopus is another local favorite. Everything will be heavily flavored with Garlic and most of the local dishes are served with Papas Arugadas, this are wrinkled potatoes cooked in salt water and the typical Mojo sauces. Red is hot and green is not!

To help with bring you the very best restaurants on Lanzarote we have broken them down into the most popular areas.
